Mike Long
Director of Operations
Mike has over 15 years’ experience of managing health and safety and fire safety in schools in Local Authority and the private sector. Mike is also a Governor at two local schools, serving as Chair and Vice Chair. In his spare time, Mike enjoys going to watch his beloved Everton Football Club and spending time with his family at his holiday home.
Michelle Irving

Chartered Member of IOSH. Michelle has worked at a senior and group level as a health & safety professional in both the public and private sectors for over 25 years, and also served as a School Governor. Michelle enjoys travel, live music, staying fit and spending time with family and friends.
Angie Hannaford
Regional Health & Safety Director
Angie is a Chartered Member of IOSH and has worked as a health & safety professional in both the public and private sectors for over 15 years.
In her spare time, Angie is a busy mum of 3 boys, enjoys reading and cooking and loves to travel.

Mark is a qualified health and safety professional with over 15 years’ experience in a number of sectors. He enjoys going to watch his favourite football team, Port Vale, visiting the Lake District with his family and enjoys long walks with his dog.

Gill has experience working in outdoor education, and various adventurous activities, including arranging Duke of Edinburgh expeditions. She has worked in H&S for 13 years. During her spare time, she enjoys adventurous activities including, paddleboarding, walking or flyball.

Mark is a dedicated Health & Safety professional with nine years’ experience within multiple different sectors. An avid tennis player, who enjoys time spending time with his family.
Deborah Coxhead

Deborah’s passion for health and safety started over ten years ago whilst working as a teacher of design and technology. She transitioned into manufacturing where she worked as a health and safety professional and has since returned to the education sector. Enjoys travelling, spending time with her family and all things creative.
Karen Walsh
Health & Safety Advisor
Karen has worked at Compliance Education since 2016, prior to this she worked in a Primary School for 11 years. Enjoys weekends away, holidays, swimming and spending time with her family.
Jamie MacDonough
Health & Safety Advisor
Jamie has a Sports Science Degree and initially worked in Education as a Tutor for Tranmere FC Professional Academy before specialising in Alternative Education. Jamie has had a variety of roles in teaching and management in Alternative Education and SEN provisions for over 20 years with skills that have transferred well into Health and Safety. In his spare time Jamie likes to keep fit and watch a variety of live music and events.
Jin Morgan

Jin has a degree in design and technology and taught in special education for over 25 years. She is a published children’s author and Oxford scholar. Enjoys the outdoors, all-year-round open-water swimming, walking her dogs, cooking and spending time with her family.
Harry Long

Harry is qualified with both NEBOSH General Certificate and NEBOSH Fire Certificate. He has worked for Compliance Education for two years. He enjoys playing for a football team and travelling.
Georgia Willis
Finance Assistant
Georgia started with Compliance Group in 2022. She started out as our admin assistant and has worked her way up to be a valued member of the finance team.
When she is not working, Georgia loves spending time with her 3 cats and walking her black labrador in North Wales and the Lakes. She loves spending time with her family on her days off.
Fraser Spencer
Fire Risk Assessor
Fraser joined Compliance Education in 2024 and has recently completed his NEBOSH Fire qualification. He previously worked in one of the largest social housing sector organisations in the North West. Away from work, Fraser enjoys writing music and using his DJ skills!
Alicia Hazelden

Alicia completed a teaching degree and has held a primary number of school-based roles and as part of an Estates Team in a College. Alicia is NEBOSH qualified, so has a great knowledge of the education sector as well as health and safety.
Outside work, Alicia enjoys watching rugby, loves horse riding and all things animals!!

Lydia is NEBOSH qualified and has worked in health and safety for a number of years, which included training the Level 3 Safety, Health & Environment Technician apprentices, delivering the NEBOSH qualification as part of their apprenticeships.
Lydia also enjoys reading, walking, keeping fit and being with family and friends.

Sophie has a Masters Degree in Health & Safety and has worked in both industry and the education sector. Outside of work, Sophie enjoys walking and going the gym.
Callum Hannaford
Health & Safety Apprentice
Callum has recently completed a two-year SHE Technician Apprenticeship. He has also recently undertaken a NEBOSH General Certificate course and sat his exams to further strengthen his knowledge and qualifications in the field.
Outside of work, Callum enjoys walking his Jack Russell Terrier in the local country park, reading crime fiction, travelling, and exploring new places.
